Ah, I hope this is where I'm supposed to reply!
1. Your reasons for taking interest in the community
Most simply, I'm interested in the community (particularily in developing countries) because I very sensative and compassionate towards people who don't live at a healthy standard. I studied abroad for 5-6 months and during that time visited several countries in Southeast Asia where the people and children are beautiful but living poorly. I also have family members who live in different parts of Malaysia who are directly affected by lack of technology and/or corrupt governments. I suppose overall, what I feel is unfair upsets me and I wish I could make a difference.
2. Your hobbies or other relevant information
I like arts, crafts, photography, food, reading and travel. I want to travel the whole world and live in various countries for years at a time. I rarely get homesick and always like to see something new. I'm trying to study abroad again next Fall in China so that I can improve my terrible Chinese.
3. Any fun facts that will help others get to know you better
I really like languages; I would love to be fluent in Chinese, Japanese, Malay, and French, with more lanuages to follow if I could get those down. Oh, and I'm addicted to yogurt world! I asked them if I could buy a whole gallon of it at a discounted price so that I could take it home and freeze in my own freezer.
