Derek Lomas is a designer of collaborative social environments that empower the distributed production of art and ideas. He received his bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from Yale University, where he explored the neurological bases of empathy and computer-aided learning. He is in his last year of a Master of Fine Arts program at UC San Diego, where he studies Social Design.
